Enhanced Monthly Reporting
We’re on a mission to bust up the industry buzzwords and b.s. Our team believes that you shouldn’t have to run your monthly marketing reports through a jargon translator or turn them upside down and all around to understand what they actually mean.
We recently revamped our monthly reporting so our clients have a very clear understanding of just what’s working and what happened the month before! Here are the highlights:
- Clear Data & Explanations: The point of a monthly report is the data, right? It’s like ordering a plate of spaghetti & meatballs and not getting any meatballs! Our new monthly reports highlight the big data trendlines and give additional context for the numbers and why they matter.
- Video Explanations: Each report comes with a video walkthrough by the account manager so our clients clearly understand what our team of mavens are looking at when we read the report.
- Shareable Formats: We also know that our day-to-day contact has a boss and they probably have a boss! To have our clients’ backs (one of our core values), we recreated our monthly reports in a shareable format so they can better tell the story of their hard work.
Here’s why any of that matters: our goal is to make mavens of everyone we work with and create clarity for our clients. When they’re clear on what’s happening in their marketing, we have opportunities to suggest innovative marketing techniques and find new, creative ways to create impact for our clients!
Bi-Annual Client Strategy Performance Reviews
You drive your car enough and you’ll get really used to its quirks. Maybe you stop noticing the windshield chip from the rock that flew up on the interstate, maybe you forget about the weird noise… until you ride with a friend and they’re like, “Yo? Is your car okay?”
Drive on autopilot for too long and you accept the imperfections as “just the way it is.” Not us. Like the friend riding in the car after a while or the mechanic performing an annual inspection, we take a critical look at all of our client’s marketing strategies and results to catch the small stuff before it becomes bigger.
While we were already doing this, we decided to schedule intentional, deep-thinking strategy time to critically review each client’s strategy. These “Bi-annual Client Strategy Performance Reviews” happen twice a year for each client and here’s what we look to uncover during each review.
- Long-Term Data Trends: When you look at data on a monthly basis, like we do, you see a lot of interesting trends! But when you take a step back and look broader, you find the really good stuff. We take a deep dive into basic and advanced data for each client, from email marketing to social media and website data.
- High- and Low-Performing Content: If something isn’t working or a campaign doesn’t perform as we expect, our goal is to pivot and change. Similarly, if it is working, we want to make the most of that! We take intentional time to critically look at our content and whether it’s working. If yes, great! If not… well, this is a family-friendly blog.
- Fresh Ideas & Perspectives: In the day-to-day, it’s easy to put your head down and focus on what’s on your list and not much else. These strategy reviews give us the opportunity to cross-pollinate our expertise and ideas to come up with innovative new ways to deliver results for our clients.
Here’s Why It Matters: Sometimes, looking at annual strategy and long-term performance isn’t enough!
